At Filameentory, we want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. This policy outlines the conditions for returns, refunds, and order cancellations.

Order Cancellation

Before Shipping

You may cancel your order before it has been shipped:

  • Contact us immediately at support@filameentory.in with your order number
  • If the order has not been processed, we will cancel it and issue a full refund
  • Refunds will be processed to the original payment method within 5-7 business days

After Shipping

Once your order has been shipped:

  • Cancellation is not possible
  • You may refuse delivery and return the package to sender
  • Upon receipt, we will process a refund minus shipping charges

Return Policy

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery if:

  • The product is defective or damaged during shipping
  • The wrong product was delivered
  • The product does not match the description on our website
  • The packaging is unopened and the product is in its original condition

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Products with opened or damaged packaging (unless defective)
  • Products that have been used or show signs of use
  • Custom or special order products
  • Products without original tags and packaging

How to Initiate a Return

To return a product:

  1. Contact us at support@filameentory.in within 7 days of delivery
  2. Provide your order number and reason for return
  3. Include photos if the product is damaged or defective
  4. We will provide return instructions and a return authorization number
  5. Pack the product securely in its original packaging
  6. Ship the product to the address provided

Refund Process

Inspection and Approval

Once we receive your returned product:

  • We will inspect the product within 2-3 business days
  • If approved, we will initiate a refund to your original payment method
  • You will receive an email confirmation of the refund

Refund Timeline

  • Online Payments (Cards/UPI/Net Banking): 5-7 business days
  • Wallet Payments: 3-5 business days

Please note that the refund timeline may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.

Partial Refunds

Partial refunds may be granted in the following cases:

  • Product shows signs of use but is defective
  • Product is returned after the 7-day return window
  • Product is missing parts or accessories (unless defective)

Replacement Policy

If you received a defective or damaged product:

  • We will offer a replacement if the same product is in stock
  • Replacement shipping will be at no cost to you
  • If the product is out of stock, we will issue a full refund

Return Shipping Costs

  • Defective/Damaged Products: We will cover return shipping costs
  • Wrong Item Sent: We will cover return shipping costs
  • Change of Mind: Customer is responsible for return shipping costs

Damaged or Defective Products

If you receive a damaged or defective product:

  1. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery
  2. Provide clear photos showing the damage or defect
  3. Keep all original packaging
  4. We will arrange for pickup or provide a prepaid return label
  5. You will receive a replacement or full refund

Exchange Policy

We currently do not offer direct exchanges. If you wish to exchange a product:

  1. Return the original product following our return process
  2. Place a new order for the desired product
  3. Once we receive and approve your return, we will process a refund
